  Here is a simple recipe for homemade pizza: Ingredients : 1 pound of pizza dough 1/2 cup of tomato sauce 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese Toppings of your choice (such as sliced pepperoni, sliced mushrooms, diced onions, sliced bell peppers, etc.) Cornmeal for dusting Instructions : Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well. Dust a clean work surface with cornmeal to prevent the pizza dough from sticking. Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer the rolled-out pizza dough onto a pizza peel or a baking sheet . Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza dough, leaving about 1/2 inch of space around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce. Add your desired toppings on top of the cheese.
